The day of your scan, you should have a good meal 90 minutes prior to your appointment and one to two glasses of fruit juice 30 minutes prior to your appointment. We want you to be comfortable and enjoy your scan, and this combination usually helps to wake your baby up so that you can have fantastic photos while staying pain-free. You may also want to wear two piece (top and bottom) comfortable clothing, since your sonographer will have to expose your belly to perform the ultrasound scan.
